Okay, this post has two purposes. First, I want to hear arguments for and against joining facebook. This was an issue of some contention in the past week, so I said I would take arguments when I got home. If you have an opinion, let me hear it.
Secondly, I want to know who reads this blog but doesn't comment. I know my parents and maternal grandparents do, because they tell me this, but the rest of you who don't feel the need to email me about it and don't ever comment--I want to know who you are! Leave me a comment!

Hi! I read this! Although I think I have commented a few times.
As for joining Facebook, it's good for keeping up with people you know that you don't see every day, but it can also be a terribly addicting time-waster. I'd say it comes down to whether you think it would distract you too much--that's my main problem with it, anyway.

No comment on facebook, it's faceless to me. Uncle Rog checks out u-tube sometimes but other than that, we're fairly traditional email types. I usually read your blog once a week and LOVE it! It's nice you can post anonymously, that would be a barrier for me creating myself in google or whatever...
the trip to Scotland sounds enchanting, await your pix with anticipation...I'll print it out for Grandma G when I see her next, Thanksgiving at the latest. Keep up the good blog!
